Had a great lunch after Art Museum Paintings on Stone. Recommend Brussel sprouts, Pastrami, Arancini, and the Dumpster Fire. We will come back to check out the bar another time. Looked good and the people were helpful and kind.

I don't even like pastrami and their pastrami sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The fries were top notch and the kimchi brussel sprouts are delicious.

Normally, I despise Brussels Sprouts, but this restaurant elevated them to new heights with the kimchi fries. Not only that, but the sandwich was delicious. The meat inside was perfectly smoked. This is probably one of my favorite sandwich joints in Saint Louis.

Everything was delicious at Nomad STL! We split pastrami poutine, turkey gyro, and the dumpster fire - amazing. Loved the poblano tzatziki! The pastrami was incredible. We will definitely be back!

Nomads has the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had! They make all their stuff in house, a labor of love. I've been all over the nation, and nobody beats nomad. Come check these guys out! I promise you won't be disappointed! My friend had to stop eating so he could catch his breath, it was that good 🤣

Best New Restaurants // No. 5 Nomad

Before trying Tommy Andrew’s pastrami at Nomad, we thought we knew pastrami. We’ve always been in love with the giant wads of peppery beef served between slices of rye bread served at delis here in St. Louis and in other cities across the country. But after eating at Nomad, all our assumptions about what pastrami even is flew out the window.

Andrew brings his fine-dining experience to the fore, lending an elevated take on everyday fare. The forthcoming restaurant’s tagline: “Sandwiches and Fine Eats.”  House-cured pastrami, for instance, will be piled high between marbled rye and topped with house-made bread-and-butter pickles stacked on a skewer. “We’re making a half-sour pickle now to serve with the pastrami,” he says.
